Post Race Summary: 11/25/2007

Thanksgiving morning was frigid with the temperature at 0 degrees F. But, the sun was bright, the sky was blue and the community came out in full force to support our inaugural event. The Race Committee and Wind Drinkers are moved by the tremendous support from the Gallatin Valley community. Even we underestimated the magnitude of runners and supporters who would come out to support our cause. With your help, we donated $8,000 of event proceeds to the Gallatin Valley Food Bank. Thank you so much!

Thank you to our 37 generous sponsors who contributed financial support plus invaluable services. Thank you to the 80 volunteers who arrived before sunrise and braved the cold weather.

Thank you to the 931 registered participants who endured the frigid temperatures and made history in our inaugural event.

Happy holidays, happy New Year, and see you in 2008! Let’s keep the new Gallatin Valley Thanksgiving tradition going strong!
